It's closer to 2 1/2 stars, but I wasn't comfortable marking 3 stars.
The childhood 'traumas' of the hero and heroine did not seem to be as big a deal as it was made out (the heroine's was a little more of an issue, but it was something that was never addressed with the parent). The "Zen" of the hero was annoying. Supposedly, he was really into meditation and zen, but continued to hold a grudge against his family.
The dialogue was bland and the romance did not hit the 'hot' meter for me.
The book was okay. It was a quick, light read. But definitely not a keeper for me.
